Genetic Testing Action Day is an annual day of awareness dedicated to empowering individuals to access genetic testing and unlock understanding, community, and a way forward. It’s observed on July 25th – Rosalind Franklin’s birthday, whose work was fundamental to the discovery of the structure of DNA.
Genetic Testing Action Day is part awareness day, part call to action. Led by Start Genetic, on July 25th we ask patients, families, advocates, and healthcare providers to do one thing: start the conversation. Talk to doctors about genetic testing. Share your experience with someone who might benefit. Raise global awareness on social media.
